GPPAC Northeast Asia members and friends gathered online today to discuss recent developments on the Korean Peninsula, including the economic and social impacts of COVID19 and sanctions, the current status of inter-Korean communications and Moon Jae-in’s policy in the last months of his presidency.

Thank you to resource persons Lim Eul-Chul (ICNK Center, Institute for Far Eastern Studies, Kyungnam University), Lee Youngah (PSPD Peace and Disarmament Center) and Yi Yehjung (Korean Sharing Movement) for sharing your updates and insights with us today.

And special thanks to Anastasia Barannikova and colleagues at the Maritime State University, GPPAC Northeast Asia’s Vladivostok Focal Point, for the initiative in hosting today’s roundtable!
